剧情

　　玛尼是一个不成功的女性，到处找工作，忙于自己的生计。这两天，她急急忙忙地从工作地赶回家里，为的不是别的，她的哥哥威尔要结婚了。为了参加哥哥的婚礼，玛尼推掉了手上的工作，回到了家里。

　　兴冲冲的玛尼回到家，见到了自己久未谋面的哥哥和父母，以及她未来的嫂子。出乎玛尼意料的是，她未来的嫂子竟然是她的高中同学乔安娜。高中女生的关系总是充满了变数和各种奇奇怪怪的问题--乔安娜在高中和玛尼是不共戴天的敌人。不过来到夫婿家的乔安娜似乎忘记了过去发生的一切，她热情、和蔼得就好像是玛尼的挚友。

　　当然，这还不是最糟糕。乔安娜的亲属也来到了亲家，他们也要出席婚礼。出乎所有人意料的，乔安娜的光鲜亮丽的姑妈和只是一个家庭主妇的玛尼的妈妈竟然也是高中同学，她们竟然也是彼此不共戴天的敌人。

　　这四个女人究竟要怎么相处才能相安无事，以前的那些伤疤究竟对她们造成了多大的伤害。伴随着婚礼的临近，这四个女人的疯癫的相处和闹尽了笑话的生活也渐渐走到了顶峰。
