《死亡效应2（Dead Effect 2）》是BadFly Interactive, a.s.制作发行的一款第一人称射击游戏。《死亡效应 2》的故事发生地点依然和前作一样，是在一艘太空飞船上，玩家需要在这里要面对一大群丧尸的来袭。当然除了丧尸这种基础敌人之外，人造人、无人兵器以及恶魔类敌人都会在游戏中一一登场，而玩家也可以用上机枪刀剑甚至是手里剑等各种特殊武器来清除敌人。

本作除了剧情战役外，还有三个新模式，分别是用于刷钱刷经验的“通用任务”、抵挡一定波数敌人的“生化危机模式”以及坚持到一定时间的“生存模式”，加上超过 20 小时的主线剧情战役，玩家绝对闲不下来。

本作的角色培养系统比前作复杂了许多。除了前作两名可选角色外，由于本作增加了近战武器，所以也多了一名擅长冷兵器的角色。另外，本作新增了技能系统，玩家可以花费升级获得的点数以及关卡获得的金钱学习主动与被动技能，一个角色有两三种搭配方式，加上比前作还丰富的武器、防具系统，角色培养本身就已经是非常有意思的一部分了。
