【剧情简介】：
电视剧《传奇之王》讲述的是柳云龙饰演的林天龙原本是一个快乐的小海员，有疼爱他的父亲和即将要新婚的妻子，然而平淡而甜蜜的生活在婚礼当天发生了永远的变化，林天龙因被人陷害而莫名入狱，在监狱的十几年中他尝尽了人生的痛苦。监狱中的一段奇遇让他获得了第二次生命，也给与他足够的力量让他脱变，林天龙凭借智慧和计谋，造就了一代传奇。

这部剧不仅在述说剧中人物林天龙的个人传奇，也是林天龙的扮演者柳云龙在事业上的一个新尝试，这部剧是柳云龙自导自演的第四部电视剧，在剧中柳云龙不仅展示了演戏和导戏的才华，还将一展歌喉，演唱剧中的主题曲。近些年柳云龙在影视剧方面的成绩让很多人已经忘记了他歌手的身份，对于在剧中重拾唱歌功底，柳云龙笑着说：“我是为了节约成本，才自己唱的。”

除此之外柳云龙还将首次尝试大年龄跨度，完整演绎这个人物的一生，柳云龙在采访中曾说过：“这个人物最大的改变就是眼神，观众会从他的眼神中看见他的蜕变。”在柳云龙看来，想要演绎一个人的传奇，必须让观众能清楚的看见这个人物前后巨大的改变，而一个人外表的变化可以考造型弥补，眼神的变化才最传神，看来对该剧颇有研究的柳云龙势必会凭借《传奇之王》打造传奇剧的新标杆。
