◎简　　介　
　　从1971年发生在伦敦马里本区的劳埃德银行的著名的大劫案那里得到了灵感，影片通过一个高负荷的惊悚故事，将上世纪70年代英国高层的腐败、贪污、堕落、谋杀和性丑闻全部交织在了一起。
　　作为一名汽车经销商，特里·莱瑟刚刚组建了一个新家庭，可惜好日子没过几天，却因为以前一个旧相识、美丽的玛婷的出现，而再度被搅乱了……她这次带来了一个计划周详的银行打劫计划，位置就在贝克大街。特里一眼就看出了计划中的简单、安全与可靠，他觉得这也许就是自己一直等待、一生难求的好机会。玛婷和特里同样将目标锁定在银行保险库里的保险箱上，因为里面是价值数百万的现金和珠宝，然而他们却没有意识到，这些保险箱里同样也锁着一些肮脏、见不得光的惊天大秘密--足以把他们推向一张由贪污和违法的丑闻交织而成的死亡之网。这些秘密不但横跨了伦敦整个地下犯罪组织，同时也涉及到了英国最高级别的政府官员，甚至就连皇室都难脱干系。
